About Short Story

Short Story's purpose is essentially an online musical resume of a small group of composers. We all know each other and sometimes even work together on peices. We don't charge for any of the music published through this site; our main intention is simply that you try out and (hopefully!) enjoy our music. We encourage you to spread the word, and you may also share our music, though you should read our legal section first.

Artists

At the moment the current lineup is as follows:

Silverline

- Paul Rowland -

That would be me. I'm the founder and current webmaster of Short Story. Pretty much any written text unless stated otherwise is written by me. I started Short Story as a means of showing off my own music, all of which still remains there today (though with it being that old, some of it sucks =p). I'd like to think as the site has matured so has my own musical skill, and sometimes I get told this.

HaloOfTheSun

- Bobby Richeson -

The first person who became an additional artist here. I had met / known Halo elsewhere and offered to help. Halo has a distinctive, mostly orchestral style to his arrangements and compositions. When Halo first became an artist here, it was initially with HOTSOMS.

Kyle556/KylePiano

- Kyle Landry -

Not long after HaloOfTheSun arrived, so did pianist Kyle Landry. Kyle has created quite a reputation for himself, especially over at YouTube, and I'm certainly happy for him. He has a broad range of performances, covering everything from Beethoven to Pokemon. He also composes inspirational original solo piano compositions.

Kolkeye

- Kevin -

Holkeye is Short Story's newest artist, with an interesting experimental / electronic style to his music. With the addition of Holkeye, Short Story evolved into the version you're looking at now. Holkeye and Silverline occasionally collaborate on projects.
